VP Harris’ Niece Faces Backlash For Presuming The Colorado Killer Was White

Vice President Kamala Harris’s niece Meena Harris has been lingering in the news for quite some time now. Between launching an attack against Dr. Seuss in an op-ed piece for the Washington Post and pushing a ‘pro-vaxxer’ campaign with singer Demi Lovato, even President Biden’s own transition lawyers reportedly told Meena to stop profiting from her aunt’s name.

Meena even launched a “Phenomenal Woman” campaign that sold books and clothes using her aunt’s face, which have been pulled from the shelves. Now, she’s under fire for a tweet in which she assumed the suspected mass shooter in Colorado was a white man because he was taken into custody alive. Liberals seem to be the only people who actually engage in all of this “racial profiling” propaganda that they act so against.

Meena Harris quickly deleted a tweet on Monday after it was revealed that the suspected killer of 10 people in a Boulder grocery store, 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, was of Syrian descent. “The Atlanta shooting was not even a week ago. Violent white men are the greatest terrorist threat to our country,” she wrote.

She quickly wrote that she deleted a previous tweet about the subject due to an assumption “based on his being taken into custody alive and the fact that the majority of mass shootings in the U.S are carried out by white men.”

The City of Boulder released a photo of Alissa, adding that he was born in Syria but has lived in the United States for most of his life. They wrote that officers had arrived on the scene within minutes, immediately entering the store, and there was an exchange of gunfire during which the suspect was shot. He is being charged with 10 counts of murder in the first degree and was transported to the Boulder County jail.

The assumptions Meena Harris made brought up the topic of mass shootings, which have not only been tarnished by political agendas but also with rampant misinformation. This scores political points for radical left individuals making assumptions on the crimes without understanding the nature and frequency of mass shootings, as well as the demographics of mass shooters.

A 2019 Center For Inquiry study identified the three most common types of mass shootings – family killings, felony killings, and public mass killings. In their findings, they’ve defined family killings being principally defined by typically White, middle-aged males, felony killings being principally defined for financial gain by young Black or Hispanic males with extensive criminal records, and public mass killings being defined by attack location and a heterogeneous group.

The mass shootings have been defined as 40.06% White, 37% are Black, and 22.94% are other and mixed. 40.06% is not “a majority.” They also note that most public mass shootings are what people wrongly define as typical of mass shootings, despite their heterogeneous findings.

The media has also clearly ignored the offender characteristics besides race. There are also defining characteristics of military interest, domestic violence history, violent criminal records, romantic and familial difficulties, financial troubles, and mental health treatment.

Leftists continue to rush to judgment and push the “angry white man” narrative before families of victims even have the chance to grieve. The “white supremacy” narrative won’t work on this attack so they’ll assign the blame to pushing gun control laws instead. It’s always about the narrative for Democrats, nothing else.
