Kayleigh McEnany Joins Fox News Family

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany was announced by Harris Faulkner that she would be joining the Fox News family as a contributor. “It is my distinct pleasure today to welcome Kayleigh McEnany to the Fox family. We will be seeing much more of her in the future,” Fox News Host Harris Faulkner said.

Faulkner sat down with McEnany for an exclusive interview on “The Faulkner Focus” where they discussed emotions regarding the Jan 6. attack on the Capitol. McEnany recalled the shock and sadness of the mob that stormed the Capitol, adding that her feelings were shared by many other White House staffers.

“We had been to hundreds of rallies — I’ve probably been to hundreds at this point, certainly many dozens — and they were nothing but peaceful events, and we expected that day to be the same. And then as those events transpired, it was disbelief, shock, somber, sad, horrified by the violence, and it was a very hard, difficult day in the White House, there is no doubt,” McEnany said.

She also discussed her relationship with President Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki, saying she was “very kind” and that she wishes her all the best. She said the mainstream media treats Psaki very differently than how she was treated in the briefing room, where some reporters acted like “political operatives.”

“I’ll never forget watching one of the early press briefings where she was asked about Antifa riots and I believe she said that she hadn’t spoken to the president about that. They let her move on, whereas if I would have been asked that about violence on the other side of the aisle… that wouldn’t have been an answer that flew, nor should it have,” McEnany explained.

McEnany has been praised in the press briefing room for bringing a large, well-organized binder and not being afraid to call out liberal bias. She previously worked as an on-air contributor at CNN before moving to work on Trump’s 2020 campaign.

According to an unnamed insider, not everyone at Fox News is happy with the addition. They likened McEnany to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels and said it was “truly disgusting.” The unnamed insider said Post-Trump Fox was quickly becoming “very scary and dangerous” for our democracy.

Others, however, congratulated the network for hiring a well-grounded and intelligent person that can be trusted to tell the American people the truth. Better than Press Secretary Jen Psaki who just tells everyone that she will “circle back.”
