Biden Makes Racial “Gaffe” And Lies About Vaccines, Defended By Media

During a recent CNN town hall, President Biden made the claim that many people in Hispanic and black communities don’t know how to use the internet to find where they can receive a COVID-19 vaccine. He has been known for making numerous gaffes throughout his political career, but none of his stereotyping racial minorities has made mainstream media headlines.

The President was responding to a question from Dr. Dessie Levy, a registered nurse, who asked about racial disparities in coronavirus care. She said she was concerned that black Americans were being vaccinated at lower rates than white Americans. It was in reference to a KHN analysis that found, in its most dramatic case, 1.2% of white Pennsylvanians had been vaccinated compared to 0.3% of black Pennsylvanians.

“A lot of people don’t know how to register. Not everybody in the community, in the Hispanic and the African-American community, particularly in rural areas that are distant and, or inner-city districts know how to use, know how to get online to determine how to get in line for that COVID vaccination at the Walgreens,” President Biden said.

There you have it. According to President Biden, minorities don’t know how to get online. He also made several misleading claims to host Anderson Cooper that there was no coronavirus vaccine when he took office. “It’s one thing to have the vaccine, which we didn’t have when we came into office, but a vaccinator. How do you get the vaccine into someone’s arm?” Biden asked.

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany shared the clip and tweeted out “Biden says there was no vaccine when he came into office. That is abjectly FALSE. President Trump brought about the fastest vaccine for a novel pathogen in history. How does Joe get away with this?”

The Moderna and Pfizer FDA-approved vaccines began distribution weeks prior to Biden taking office. The country was at approximately 1 million vaccinations per day when Biden became president and Pfizer has even agreed to go to 600 million doses, which will be available by the end of July.

Fact-checkers from CNN and the Washington Post were quick to explain that Biden had “a typical Biden gaffe,” since he mentioned earlier in the same town hall that there had “only” been 50 million vaccine doses when he took office. These are the same media sources that deemed Trump racist for saying he had “tremendous African American Support” and claimed he averaged 16 lies a day for 5 years.

Rep. Mike Johnson defended McEnany’s tweet and called out the mainstream media for trying to hold Biden to different standards than former President Trump. “WaPo rang up Trump for over 30,000 “false or misleading” claims — averaging 16 lies a day for 5 years. They dinged Trump for statements such as “I have tremendous African American support. I don’t know how you go from that hyperliteral standard to giving Biden a pass on this,” he wrote.

It is the defense and the response of the radical left media that has absolutely destroyed credibility in the eyes of the American people. They are to be considered nothing more than activists and will defend Biden’s racial stereotypes and lies about COVID-19 vaccines until the next democratic presidential candidate. There is no standard or truth to the left anymore, just a preferred narrative.
