During a recent address, President Joe Biden asked all Americans to keep wearing masks in May and June until case numbers go down and everyone has had a chance to get the vaccine shot. He shared that this was the only way Americans will be able to celebrate their “independence” and gather together by July.
“To celebrate our independence from this virus on July 4th with family and friends in small groups, we still have more to do in the months of May and June. We all have to mask-up until the number of cases go down, until everyone has a chance to get their shot,” President Biden said.
However, states like Texas, Mississippi, and Florida, have stripped all mask mandates and have seen cases dropping or remaining the same. Dr Anthony Fauci, Biden’s top medical adviser, has failed to give any measurements on when he believes it is “safe” to lower restrictions or how a mask is effective for a person already vaccinated. But Democrat’s don’t “follow the science,” they just follow the narrative of whatever they decide to believe.
On a recent segment of Fox News “The Story,” Sen. Rand Paul talked about how Joe Biden should go on national tv and burn his mask if he wants more people to get vaccinated. He explains how science is about “proving that things are happening” and if Dr. Fauci could prove vaccinated people are also spreading the disease, then he would listen to him.
“But instead, they say, well, the vaccine might not work, in some sort of planetary world we’re not aware of, the vaccine might not work. Well, there’s no evidence of it. The burden of proof should be on the government to prove that we are spreading it, and then we’ll listen to them. But instead, it sounds sort of like fear-mongering,” Paul said.
Paul previously questioned Dr. Fauci’s advice at a March 19 Senate hearing when he asked the doctor if it was “just theater” for continually wearing two face masks, despite being vaccinated. Dr. Fauci argues that vaccinated people should continue wearing masks and that the vaccine only offer partial immunity.
While there is a small number of people who have been reinfected after being fully vaccinated, the hospitalization and death rates for post-vaccination individuals is even lower. These cases represent only 0.0067% of the estimated 86 million U.S citizens who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. “The vaccination has virtually zero hospitalizations, and virtually zero deaths,” Paul said.
In a previous Fox Business interview, Paul also shared that Dr. Fauci should be removed from TV due to his “fear-mongering” tactics and recommendations that aren’t even matched by the science of his own institute. He called it a “television malpractice” for TV doctors to come in and claim that the mask is much more important than the vaccine.
But Dr. Fauci is too busy wearing two masks and getting books written about him to realize that he is not America’s top medical expert, but just a left-wing advocate for elitism. And like President Biden, a puppet for the radical left.
