On Thursday, Mamas for Desantis, a group formed initially to support the gubernatorial re-election campaign of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, launched a new video in support of DeSantis’ 2024 presidential run.
With a clear appeal to the “mama bear” voters and narrated by Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis, the video packs a powerful punch.
We will not allow you to exploit the innocence of our children to advance your agenda.
When you come after our kids, we fight back.
We are no longer silent.
We are united.
We are Mamas for DeSantis.

The video opens with grainy yet recognizable footage of trans athletes (biological males) winning foot races and taking the medal stand in swimming competitions in place of biological female athletes, toddlers being forcibly masked, a little girl encountering a dog-masked man in BDSM attire, as DeSantis intones: “In America, we’ve witnessed a lot — and put up with ENOUGH.”
Scenes of a mom at a playground with her kids being arrested, sobbing babies being masked on planes, and little ones being admonished, “Keep your mask on!” fade to shots of Dr. Anthony Fauci as she continues: “We’ve been forced into silence — into compliance. Told that we must: ‘Trust the science.’”
The narration continues:
We’ve been told that we must deny truth, back down, and look the other way.
Enough is enough.
When you come after our kids, we fight back — because there’s nothing we won’t do to protect our children.
They’re NOT yours.
The video flashes to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre, followed by President Joe Biden, insisting that “These are our kids” and “Our nation’s children are all our children.” Then it cuts to the infamous “We’re coming for your children” chant from a Pride event in late June.
We will not allow you to exploit their innocence to advance your agenda.
We are no longer silent.
We are united.
And we have finally found our fighter.
We see scenes of Ron DeSantis at a podium, declaring: “We’re not going to let you impose an agenda on our kids. We’re going to stand up for our kids.”
He’ll do for America what he did for us in Florida:
Schools – open.
Parents rights – defended.
School choice – unversal.
Critical Race Theory – prohibited.
DEI – stopped.
Child mutilation – illegal.
Girls sports – saved.
Communities – protected.
Our economy – growing.
And freedom – guaranteed.
Then Casey DeSantis addresses the camera directly.
But winning the fight in Florida is just the beginning. We must protect parents rights and the innocence of our children. We must restore sanity in our society.
We need every mama, and every grandmama, in every corner of the country, to stand up and fight back — by electing Ron DeSantis President of the United States of America.
The video went viral soon after its release.
A tweet sharing the video for the national initiative had been viewed more than 1.3 million times within hours of being posted Thursday night.
A page for the initiative on the DeSantis campaign website says that it “is bringing together millions of fired-up mamas ready to stand up for their children’s futures and put an end to the woke mob’s hostile takeover of the lives of parents, children, and families across the nation.”
As of Friday morning, the tweet has over 2.7 million views.
