Former Fox News anchor and current Team Trump-er Kimberly Guilfoyle made a rare public comment about her ex-husband, California Governor Gavin Newsom, on Sunday.
Speaking at the Turning Point USA Amfest Conference in Phoenix, Guilfoyle took the jab as she spoke to a crowded house at the Phoenix Convention Center. The former co-host of The Five was talking about the insanity of states like California ditching gas and oil in favor of “green solutions” like wind farms and electric cars. She used the opportunity to take a swipe at her former spouse, who has signed legislation that will supposedly eliminate the sale of all gas-powered vehicles in the state of California by 2035.
“In California, they have vowed to get rid of gas-powered cars. A bunch of winners over there. Ask me how I know. I got news for him. He ain’t making it to the White House!”
The statement got a rousing round of applause from the largely young audience already hyped up to see conservative personalities like Kayleigh McEnany and Josh Hawley.
