Gov. Huchal Warns Unvaccinated People That They Aren’t Listening To What God Wants

Democrats have taken their vaccine preaching to the next level by claiming that citizens should be “thankful to God” for the COVID-19 vaccines and “divinely inspired” to get the jab. Those were New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s exact words when she urged New Yorkers to go get the jab over the weekend.

Gov. Hochul was speaking at Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center, a non-denominational megachurch, about the pandemic when she referred to listeners as her “apostles” while urging them to go out and talk to one another about getting the vaccine. She said that Jesus taught us to love one another, adding that you show someone you care about them by getting the vaccine. She said it is the only way to ensure that people are safe and don’t get the virus from anyone, adding that those who refuse the vaccine “aren’t listening to God and what God wants.”

“We are not through this pandemic. I wished we were, but I prayed a lot to God during this time and you know what, God did answer our prayers. He made the smartest men and women, the scientists, the doctors, the researchers — he made them come up with a vaccine. That is from God to us and we must say, ‘Thank you, God. Thank you,” Hochul said.

Hochul showed off her vaccination status necklace and talked about being in a room full of smart, vaccinated people, adding that she’s unaware of any sanctioned religious exemptions. She said everybody from “the pope on down” is encouraging people to get vaccinated and that she will defend the right of New Yorkers and their health. She said she will continue to pray for those who have not received a coronavirus shot yet.

Gov. Hochul has also indicated that she will sign an executive order to allow National Guard members to fill healthcare staff shortages after the state’s vaccine mandates take effect. Healthcare workers have continued to protest against the mandates and opt against vaccination. The mandate does not even allow weekly virus testing, which has resulted in many medical centers and hospitals suspending their in-patient care and surgeries.

Northwell Health, one of the largest healthcare providers in New York, said they will probably have to fire thousands of people for refusing to get vaccinated. One official said they are taking the necessary steps in anticipation of a staffing shortage. Erie County Medical Center said they plan to fire up to 400 employees soon who have chosen not to get vaccinated.

Hochul has also made a clear warning to the unvaccinated population that they are not welcome in New York.

“We’ve sent out the alarm, we have a pool of individuals who want to help. I would have much rather just been voluntary, but if I have to take steps to protect the people in terms of making sure I have replacements if necessary, I need to take those steps now and that executive order will do just that,” Hochul said.

At this rate, Gov. Hochul might end up making a bigger mess of New York than Gov. Andrew Cuomo. And that’s saying something.
