There has been yet another surrender of the border by the Biden Administration after images falsely claimed that Border Patrol agents were whipping migrants. President Joe Biden vowed that “those people will pay” in regards to the Border agents and victimized the migrants by claiming that horses were running them over and people were being strapped. As shown by the images, the agents were clearly holding onto the reins to control the horses and not whipping or strapping for migrants. Biden said he takes responsibility for what everyone saw but called it beyond an embarrassment and just plain dangerous.
“To see people treated like they did, horses barely running over, people being strapped — it’s outrageous. I promise you, those people will pay. There will be an investigation underway now and there will be consequences. There will be consequences. It’s wrong. It sends the wrong message around the world. It sends the wrong message at home. It’s simply not who we are,” Biden said.
Brandon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council, lashed out against President Biden’s comments, adding that if he were not president, he would arrest him for “aiding and abetting.” He said he’s been patrolling the borders since Clinton was the president and can say that the policies were put in place the best under former President Donald Trump. He then said the policies were “completely and totally dismantled” under the Biden Administration.
He adds that Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and Border Patrol chief Raul Ortiz have been down to the border and have seen the horses. They have debunked the claims and noted that the agents were using the long reins to control their horses in the difficult riverine. There are no images of the migrants being hit by the reins.
Judd asked why the president is vilifying their actions, to the best of their abilities, to go out there and protect the border. He said they’ve taken away their horseback and are making accusations of racism, even though there has been no whipping of people. Some of the migrants can be seen trying to go around the horses, but the photos are misconstrued where it looks like whips are being swung. The hoses are also being used because it is a challenge for 4-wheel drive vehicles to operate in that terrain.
“You know, we feel like why even go out there and do it? Why put on that uniform? Why care about the American public? That’s why we do it; we put on that uniform because we care about the American public; we want to go out there and we want to protect them. And Joe Biden is trying to break that down,” Judd said.
Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said they’ve filed multiple lawsuits against the Biden administration since they are not following the existing laws when it comes to national security and border security. They have turned over Afghanistan to the Taliban, pushed vaccine mandates on federal workers, and have now ceded control of the border to the cartels. He said he’s tried to use all of the “tools” in his toolbox to push Biden to secure the border including litigation, trying to force him to build the Wall, reinstate the Remain-in-Mexico policy, and make sure the people who have deportation orders are being deported.
He adds that “hundreds” of Border Patrol agents are out every single day because of contracting COVID-19 working at the border.
Brnovich said Biden is clearly violating his oath to protect the republican form of government and that there are some folks who believe this is the “equivalent” of an invasion. He has a lot of authority when it comes to the border and enforcing the laws, but has been too busy pushing vaccine mandates, which he doesn’t have the authority to do. He is playing politics with the lives of Border Patrol agents instead of doing what he’s supposed to at the border.
President Biden continues to play judge and jury while being completely wrong about his own border. If anything, it just shows how alienated Biden is within his own administration. He’ll throw his own departments under the bus just to push a political talking point.
