Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is back out in public, making lives everywhere miserable with her presence. She took to the streets spewing her propaganda that the United States is the sole reason why the Cuban people are suffering on the island. She ignores the fact that the people revolting are telling the valid reasons why they are suffering, not America.
The Cuban people have already stated that they want freedom because their dictator is killing them and keeping them under his iron boot. They are waving the American flag because they understand, unlike Ocasio-Cortez, that it represents freedom. And it is their way of crying for help from the mainland.
But the liberals, such as AOC, are trying to reinvent the narrative to fit their political agenda. They cannot have another nation telling the world that their desired government is hostile and murders people that disagree with the establishment.
At first, the Democrats tried to tell people that COVID-19 was the reason. And when that did not pan out, they tried to blame it on funds being mismanaged. And when that failed to get the desired results, they blamed the United States’ embargos placed on the communist dictator.
Ocasio-Cortez is ignorant as to the reasons why the embargos were placed on Cuba. Her grandparent’s generation would have been the ones to set in motion the accusations that she is telling today.
The tiny witchy AOC points her little finger at past generations and blames them for pain and suffering in another country. in her sadistic mind, she has come to believe that America is responsible. In her world, America needs to fall for Cuba to rise. Freedom needs to be shunned, and communism needs to be embraced.
But that is precisely what the Cuban people do not want. They want freedom and not communism. They do not want to have anything to do with what AOC is proposing. They want to come to America because people are free and are not controlled by people like the Democratic party.
In a speech she gave online, she could barely get out that “Last month, uh, once again, the, uh, the U.N. voted overwhelmingly, uh, to call on the United States to lift its embargo on Cuba, and the United States was one of the only, uh, countries that voted no.”
It is nothing more than an opinion that she has regarding the embargo placed on Cuba. She clearly does not understand the purpose of why it is in place. The Cuban leaders could have removed the embargo years ago by adhering to the demands of their people. But they chose to defy their people, and the embargo remains to the current day.
She went on to note that “And I outright reject the Biden administration’s defense of the embargo, where they say or they have said that they wanted to maintain the bar, the embargo, as it is a source of leverage and pressure, there is no way where it is acceptable for us to use cruelty as a, as a point of leverage against everyday people, period. Whether it’s our border, or whether it’s the U.S. embargo on Cuba, the cruelty is the point.”
She would know all about cruelty as she supports murdering children before they are born and refusing to help her grandmother rebuild her home after a hurricane a decade ago. Her hypocrisy rings like a loud bell when she tried to sound intelligent about foreign affairs.
In her ranting speech of hatred for the country she lives in, she said, “We also must name the U.S. contribution to Cuban suffering: our sixty-year-old embargo,” she continued. “Last month, once again, the U.N. voted overwhelmingly to call on the United States to lift its embargo on Cuba. The embargo is absurdly cruel and, like too many other U.S. policies targeting Latin Americans, the cruelty is the point. I outright reject the Biden administration’s defense of the embargo. It is never acceptable for us to use cruelty as a point of leverage against everyday people.”
Leverage seems to be her keyword. She leverages things against Biden all the time to get what she wants out of him. And nothing is stopping her from attacking the American people as long as she is in Congress.
