Researcher Thanked Flip-Flop Fauci In April 2020 For Helping “Dispel The Myths” About A Lab Leak

After Dr. Anthony Fauci publicly flip-flopped on the theories of COVID-19 origins, more people started investigating just how close his relationship was with the Wuhan Institute of Virology – and it’s much closer than you think.

Buzzfeed recently won a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, which granted them over 3,200 pages of emails between Fauci and numerous public figures. One of the emails being zeroed in on is a correspondence between Fauci and Peter Daszak, the President of the EcoHealth Alliance. EcoHealth Alliance is a research firm that is connected with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where people believe was the origin for COVID-19. They’d given the Wuhan Lab $600,000 to “conduct risky experiments on bat-based coronaviruses.”

Daszak emailed Fauci to thank him for helping “dispel the myths” around COVID-19 origins.

“As the PI of the R01 grant publicly targeted by Fox News reporters at the Presidential press briefing last night, I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” Daszak writes.

Daszak was the only U.S citizen who was allowed to participate in the World Health Organization’s investigation into the origins of COVID-19 and concluded that it was “highly unlikely” that COVID-19 leaked from the lab. He even suggested that U.S intelligence officials on the Wuhan Institute of Virology shouldn’t be trusted. Mind you, the World Health Organization didn’t even ask to see the deleted Wuhan Institute of Virology database containing 16,000 virus samples because Daszak had ‘personally vouched’ for the lab.

Fauci later responded to thank Daszak for the “kind” note and even signed off his name as “Tony,” but has since altered his position on the lab leak theory. Experts said that the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) gave gain-of-function research grants to the Wuhan lab. Fauci, who leads the NIAID, has declined to flag the grant for independent review and has rejected the notion that they support gain-of-function research.

Without any serious research or investigating into the origins of COVID-19, Daszak even published a statement in the Lancet medical journal in February 2020 condemning the “conspiracy theories” that COVID-19 didn’t have a natural origin. He later admitted that he had just made the statement to protect Chinese scientists from any online criticism.

It took Chinese researchers 14 years to determine with certainty the source of the SARS-CoV virus from 2003 and here we have Fauci and Daszak making claims about the virus’s origins just months after the initial outbreak and before any proper research was done.

Flip-Flop Fauci has lied about the truth since telling Americans that masks don’t protect against COVID-19, just to later reverse his position. It’s no wonder that everyday Americans have stopped listening to Fauci since each set of guidelines and recommendations has been purely political. Instead of trusting the residents of the country and empowering them to make their own decisions, Fauci has decided on a foundation of “one-size-fits-all” lies in response to the pandemic.

It’s starting to look more like a cover-up and less like a bat at a wet market.
