Dr. Fauci Doesn’t Think You Should Eat Or Drink Indoors (Even if You’re Vaccinated)

While states like Texas and Florida continue to beat lockdown states in COVID-19 related science, infectious diseases expert Dr. Anthony Fauci is still telling vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans that they should not congregate to eat or drink indoors while unmasked. Do you remember when Dr. Fauci said Americans had “no need” to wear masks? There is still no evidence that masks worked, even though Democrats preach daily that you should “follow the science.”

Without pointing to any particular science, Fauci warned Americans that they should have “extreme cause for concern” when deciding whether to dine or drink inside restaurants and bars. He shared concerns with MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan over what Americans – vaccinated or not – should be doing right now and that the dynamics of infection in the community are still “disturbingly high.” It’s been over a year now and everyone is still listening to the most highly paid person in the government who openly admitted to moving goalposts throughout 2020. Talk about doing more harm than good.

Dr. Fauci pointed to the soaring infection rates over the weekend, which was 80,000 on Sunday, and shifted the immunity goalposts, saying that as much as 90% of the population needs to be vaccinated to stop the spread of coronavirus. The average case of infection has been hanging around 60,000-75,000. He even shares that those who are vaccinated can still have an asymptomatic infection and potentially transmit the virus to others.

“If you are vaccinated, please remember that you still have to be careful and not get involved in crowded situations, particularly indoors where people are not wearing masks. And for the time being, until we show definitely that a person who’s vaccinated does not get this subclinical infection and can spread to others, you should also continue to wear a mask,” Fauci said.

Dr. Fauci’s prolonged lockdown measures and recommendations have even discouraged people from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at all. Some have questioned the point in getting the shot if they have to continue avoiding indoor dining, socializing, and a return to normalcy in life. Mark Meadows, former Trump White House chief of staff, even retweeted the Fauci interview and said that Democrats have “zero intention of giving back their newfound control, even if you’re vaccinated.”

Sen. Rand Paul also criticized the MSNBC interview and said Dr. Fauci is ignoring 100 years of vaccine science just so people listen to what he says, even if it doesn’t make any sense. “If you’ve recovered or been vaccinated – go about your life. Eat, drink, work, pen the schools. Enough with the petty tyrants!” He tweeted.

Sen. Paul has previously clashed with Dr. Fauci over the pandemic, particularly about the effectiveness of masks. He accused Fauci of playing “theater” over still wearing a mask after getting the vaccine. Fauci has even said in the past that the United States could get through a pandemic without lockdowns and through herd immunity solely. Now, Fauci argues about the “variants of the virus” popping up across the globe and says that this is a good reason for masks and more lockdown measures.

When asked about why Texas hasn’t seen the predicted COVID-19 surge after ditching mask mandates, Dr. Fauci suggested that it could be because they are doing things “outdoors” but that he’s not really quite sure. He adds that it could take weeks before reopened states see the number of COVID-19 cases tick up again, but so far, Texas continues to beat many lockdown states.

Lockdowns, masks, and the myth of spreading COVID-19 in a restaurant are based on ‘left-wing science.’ And the actual science for declining cases and hospitalization rates is on the side of open states like Texas, Florida, and Mississippi, and not the heavy lockdown states like New York and Michigan, which have been heavily praised by the radical left media.
