President Biden Takes Credit For Vaccine Rollout Goals (That Were From Trump’s Playbook)

President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci have moved around the goalposts for herd immunity and vaccine accessibility for quite some time now. Whether it is to fit their political narrative at the time or instill the fear of government-mandated lockdowns, the American people have lost any trust in so-called “medical experts” who’ve even told us that masks weren’t necessary in the first place. Now, President Biden announced that vaccines will be available to 90% of all U.S adults by April 19.

“You heard me say many times before, our progress in vaccination is a stunning example that there is nothing this country cannot do if we put our minds to it, and we do it together…but our work is far from over,” Biden said.

Critics have lashed out at President Biden for just arriving into the office and already taking credit for former President Trump’s ‘Operation Warp Speed,’ which was a partnership between the Department of Health and Human Services and Defense. Former President Trump aimed to accelerate the COVID-19 vaccine development, manufacturing challenges, and speed up gathering data from clinical trials on its success.

The former head of Operation Warp Speed, Monclef Slaoui, criticized the Biden Administration for claiming that Trump left them without a coherent vaccine plan and called it a “very negative description of the reality.” He said Biden and their team are using a vaccine rollout philosophy incredibly “similar” to Trump’s in terms of manufacturing, supply, and distribution.

“In fact, 90% of what’s happening now is the plan that we had. We constructed specifically 100 million doses of the vaccine, but we also built into the contract options to acquire more vaccines once we knew they are effective,” Slaoui said.

President Biden made the vaccine announcement Monday but warned states to reinstate their mask mandates and said that the war against COVID-19 was far from over. He warned Americans that this is a “patriotic duty” and it’s the only way that we could ever go back to normal. “I’m reiterating my call for every governor, mayor, and local leader to maintain and reinstate the mask mandate. Please, this is not politics. Reinstate the mandate if you let it down,” he said.

While President Biden also “warned” Texas and Mississippi that by lifting their mask mandates and stripping COVID-19 restrictions, both states would see a massive spike in COVID-19 cases. In fact, they’ve seen record lows in COVID-19 cases and hospitalization rates over the last two weeks. In Mississippi, the average daily increase in cases was 465, and two weeks after the mandates were lifted, the average is now 343. There have also been record lows in Florida as well, where Gov. Ron DeSantis has been criticized for lacking any statewide restrictions. So much for Democrats “following the science.”

The politicization of this so-called ‘health crisis’ just ended up with the Biden Administration laying out a copy of the same exact plan that the Trump Administration laid out. Biden will continue to minimize any of Trump’s contributions and say they started a vaccine plan “from scratch” just to gain a few political points. President Biden will say he ‘saved the country’ when he spent the peak of the pandemic campaigning from his basement.
