Why Biden’s Executive Orders On Gun Control Are A Major Red Flag

During a recent press briefing, CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki if they should be expecting executive orders from President Biden on gun measures, in which she replied “yes” but did not offer any timeframe on when these gun control measures would be implemented. An executive order would only used if President Biden knows legislation wouldn’t be passed on something. Every day his administration proves that they don’t care about the law, the constitution, or the country.

“I will note that when the president was the vice-president in the Obama-Biden administration, he helped put in place 23 executive actions to combat gun violence. It’s one of the levers that we can use, that any federal government, any President can use to help address the prevalence of gun violence and address community safety around the country,” Psaki said to Collins.

Psaki adds that President Biden has been considering using executive action “for several weeks” now and that there’s been current discussion and analysis of what steps can be taken moving forward. She says these measures plan to address the ongoing “community violence” and a range of issues that have been leading to the deaths and impact that they’re seeing.

Vice President Kamala Harris also gave an exclusive interview to “CBS This Morning” in which she discussed President Biden’s push for stricter gun control regulations, adding that he has been “ready to sign” following the mass shootings in Georgia and Colorado. “The point here is Congress needs to act. On the House side, they did. There are two bills which the president is prepared to sign, and so we need the Senate to act,” she said.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, however, has pointed out that there is an even greater urgency to protect the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens, as well as passing laws that expand gun rights instead of stripping them. He pointed to a comment former Congressman Beto O’Rourke made about wanting to take away people’s AR-15’s and AK-47’s away in which he replied, “Hell no, Beto, you’re not gonna come get our guns in the Lone Star State.”

Even Republican Sen. Ted Cruz pointed out how Democrats like to twist every time there’s a shooting into some massive partisan issue. He has been working to safeguard the Second Amendment and uphold the rule of law by preserving the Constitution. “Every time there is a shooting, we play this ridiculous theater where this committee gets together and proposes a bunch of laws that would do nothing to stop these murders,” Cruz said.

Gun rights organizations, such as the National Rifle Association and Gun Owners Of America, have raised red flags about Biden’s potential executive orders and pointed out one of Psaki’s comments saying they know that gun control “works.” The organizations pointed to a Department of Justice-funded study in which the ’94 “assault weapon” ban was a bust, as well as the fact that almost all mass shooters have passed a background check or circumvented the system illegally.

Not to mention the fact that President Biden’s own son, Hunter Biden, can’t even follow gun rules. In 2018, he provided false information on A Federal Firearms License background check form in which he answered “no” to the question about having any substance abuse problems or being addicted to any depressants, stimulants, or any controlled substances. A few years later, his own family opened up about his history of drug use. The Secret Service also got involved in trying to locate a missing gun that Biden’s son Hunter and daughter-in-law Hallie had tossed in a trash bin behind a local high school.

The notable fines and punishment for lying on a form can be up to $250,000 and/or ten years of imprisonment. The Biden Administration will continue trying to take away the guns of law-abiding citizens while letting Hunter Biden roam free. Gun control does nothing but puts guns in the hands of criminals.
