The Biden administration has decided that they are going to do battle with the state of Florida over their handling of COVID-19. Governor DeSantis wants residents of this state to get back to their normal lives. The Democrats are not going to allow any state to get back to normal because it doesn’t suit their agenda.
Governor DeSantis is urging a return to normalcy, with a healthy dose of common sense. That would seem to be the only way that we are going to get past this pandemic.
But he’s not being heard by the powers that be. They want the economy to grind to an absolute halt. Hair salons, restaurants, and schools are being opened in the Sunshine State.
This is enough to send the Biden administration into an absolute tizzy. They do not want states to reopen unless they are ready to kiss the ring first. The Biden mafia family demands it. Any governor of a non-blue state that is not ready to do so is going to be treated like a redheaded stepchild.
Biden is already making some serious threats.
They are reportedly contemplating some serious travel restrictions. The COVID-19 numbers in the state are steadily declining but that does not matter to the Biden team.
News Observer has more about these latest developments. “The Biden administration is considering whether to impose domestic travel restrictions, including on Florida, fearful that coronavirus mutations are threatening to reverse hard-fought progress on the pandemic.
Outbreaks of the new variants — including a highly contagious one first identified in the United Kingdom, as well as others from South Africa and Brazil that scientists worry can evade existing vaccines — have lent urgency to a review of potential travel restrictions within the United States, one federal official said.
“There are active conversations about what could help mitigate spread here, but we have to follow the data and what’s going to work. We did this with South Africa, we did this with Brazil, because we got clear guidance,” one White House official said.
“But we’re having conversations about anything that would help mitigate spread,” the official said, referring to discussions about new travel restrictions that could target the spread of the U.K. mutation in Florida,” News Observer reports.
Governor DeSantis is standing in opposition to this plan and it makes perfect sense to us.
This is a state that depends on travel and tourism in order to survive. By placing travel restrictions on this state, they are taking direct aim at a lot of business owners. Governor DeSantis may be one of the last sane voices left.

Anyone who thinks that Biden and Harris are making these decisions because they actually care about anyone else’s well being needs to have their head examined.
This is not about helping us, it is about making sure that red states know their place in the pecking order. The liberals want red states to feel a tremendous sense of shame for how they have conducted themselves but in reality?
They simply want to get back to normal like everyone else. No one wants to be stuck inside any longer and people are looking to resume their normal schedules. The Democrats are severely overplaying their hand here.
What are they going to do when the protests against these draconian rules start anew? Biden is not someone that does too well when he is placed on the hot seat.
He was hoping to bank off the goodwill that he has from replacing Trump but that is only going to carry him so far. Leftists like to travel as well, Sleepy Joe. That’s why we can’t wait to see him fall flat on his face with this insane idea.
