Joe Biden hasn’t had a very busy schedule since he was shoved aside from the 2024 campaign and swapped out for Kamala Harris. Indeed, it seems very much like he’s being largely hidden. But his persistent cognitive issues continue to be a big red flag for Kamala Harris because she had to know what was going on. She and the Democrats put us in this position, and that alone should be disqualifying for her for office, without even getting to horrible policies that she also stood behind for the last three-plus years, including the economy going into the dumper.
But Biden did have an event on Friday — before leaving for the weekend and Camp David for yet another vacation.

He signed a proclamation to designate the Springfield 1908 Race Riot National Monument. He was joined by civil rights leaders and lawmakers.
He had difficulty just talking about why they were there, saying what he was “excited about” was that they were “rewriting history.”
Yes, we know that’s something that Biden seems to have done with his own history on many other occasions, including things like infamously even implying his uncle was eaten by cannibals.
But if you’re talking about highlighting history as he was here, you don’t have to rewrite it.
Biden had problems reading off his notes. He sounded half asleep and was slurring his words. Then he started saying strange things about “Bidenski” — how he moved to an area where he was the only kid in the neighborhood who didn’t have a “ski” [at the end of his name].
This was ridiculous pandering when he first started telling it to make him sound like he understood Polish people, and now he can’t even get it out correctly as he continues to deteriorate. Yet, the attendees laughed as though this was something funny when it is sad.
Then, of course, he had to try to appeal to his audience and again falsely claimed that he got his start in politics because of “this movement” — the Civil Rights Movement.
He actually claimed when he got elected he “worked to change the nature of the parties.” Was that before or after talking about the “racial jungle” or telling people they weren’t black if they didn’t know to vote for him? He’s had a long history of racist comments, of which those are just a small sample.
Biden then said that he thought a ceasefire in the war in Gaza was imminent, that he “may have something” but he didn’t “want to jinx it” by talking about it.
However, he’s been saying the same thing for months. He likely thinks this sounds like he’s doing something, and it will appeal to the left. But when you don’t produce anything, it just sounds like he’s trying to string the left along so they will still vote for the Democratic candidate and maybe hold fewer protests at the DNC.
The U.S. was involved in talks over the last two days with Qatar and Egyptian mediators as well. They released a statement that indicated it was “constructive.” But reports were that Hamas was rejecting the current proposal. So unless something changes, Biden’s words sound pretty empty at this moment.
