Trump’s Campaign Outraises Biden’s by Millions as Democrats Continue to Sink Into Infighting

The bad news continues to trickle in for the Democrat Party, as the lead the Biden campaign once had over the Trump campaign is gone, and it’s now trailing behind by a substantial amount. Hilariously, all of this seems to stem from every one of the Democrat Party’s plans backfiring against them.

According to a statement released by the Trump campaign, Q2 brought in a tidal wave of cash to the Trump campaign, raising millions more than Biden’s:

Today, the Trump Campaign reports that in the second quarter of fundraising, it raised a total of $331 million. This beats the quarterly number of $264 million reported by Biden for the same period. After beating Biden in the months of April and May, the Trump team added another $111.8 million in June.
More importantly, the Trump campaign ends June with a cash on hand advantage as Biden continues to burn through millions while still losing ground in national and battleground polling. Team Trump’s cash on hand at the end of June is $284.9 million compared to $240 million reported by Biden.
“President Trump’s campaign fundraising operation is thriving day after day and month after month. Winning this quarter brought us a cash on hand advantage, which is punctuated by a Biden burn rate that grows while yielding no tangible results for them. Despite Biden spending nearly $120 million on tv, cable and radio alone, polling and voter enthusiasm continue to grow for President Trump. This fundraising momentum is likely to grow even more as we head into a world-class convention and see the Democrats continue their circular firing squad in the aftermath of Biden’s debate collapse.”

Donations to Trump began flooding in shortly after the verdict was handed down in the New York case that found Trump guilty of multiple felonies, thanks to Olympic-level legal gymnastics on the part of New York AG Alvin Bragg. The case was supposed to sink the Trump campaign and arrest his momentum to the White House, but it only grew Trump’s popularity by leaps and bounds, rewarding him with $141 million upon the verdict by the jury.

At that point, the longstanding lead Biden had against Trump disappeared overnight, but the money kept coming in. Now, Trump is far out ahead of Biden.

Not that Biden’s money is doing him any favors anyway. Last week, the debate between Biden and Trump saw Biden fail so spectacularly that the party is currently in an internal war between wanting him replaced and keeping him going. As this infighting continues, his top donors are floating the idea of getting a refund from the campaign, especially when Kamala Harris is brought up as a potential replacement.

As Bonchie reported on Wednesday morning, James Carville made it clear to donors that Harris would be even more of a danger to the Democrat’s chances in November than Biden is. Regardless, donors are getting cold feet, as evidenced by comments made during the call:

“What can we as donors do to encourage the change in the ticket?” one donor asked, capturing the sentiment on the call. “Continuing to have President Biden at the top of this ticket is giving people an excuse to vote for Donald Trump,” said another. “If you wake Joe Biden at three-o-clock in the morning and ask him who’s president, does he get it right?” fretted a third.

It seems that Biden’s campaign is dead in the water, at least at this point. The donors are suffering from a serious case of buyer’s remorse, and I doubt they’ll see much more in terms of a substantial influx of cash in the coming months.

As it stands, Trump is running away with this election. I warn everyone not to count chickens before they hatch, but if there is a road to victory for Democrats at this point, I’m not sure what it is. They can only pray that somehow, the Republican Party snatches defeat out of the jaws of victory, which isn’t exactly unheard of.
