Joe Biden is hunkering down at Camp David as his team tries to ready him for the CNN debate later this week. They appear to be trying to pump him up for the battle and are leaking that viewers should be prepared for “surprises” and a more aggressive Biden. They’re also practicing having him stand for 90 minutes for a mock debate. If you have to practice that, there may just be a problem.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump is doing some preparation, but he’s also campaigning. He hit two events on Saturday — a rally in Philadelphia and an appearance at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, D.C.
Trump’s rally in Philadelphia was an example of him reaching out to blue areas as well as black and Hispanic voters. We’ve seen him going everywhere from the South Bronx to Detroit before this, and it has to be making the Democrats nervous.
Before his rally in Philadelphia, he met with supporters at Tony and Nick’s Steaks, which is known for its Philly cheesesteaks. The owner is a supporter.
“It was just unbelievable,” Nicky Lucidonio, owner of Tony and Nick’s Steaks, shared with Fox News Digital. “He was talking to people, you know, they’re asking questions. He’s answering them. He’s signing hats. He signed and everything.
“We’re all taking pictures with him. What a great man, you know. We’re all here rooting for him. You know, this November, we gotta get him in.”

But one moment that’s capturing a lot of attention was a very sweet moment Trump had with a young supporter while there. You can see the boy photobombing Trump a little here as Trump lit into Biden.
The boy was dressed in a suit and a blond wig, like Trump. Then he lucked out.
Trump asked the people to give him a “special sandwich.” He told the boy he was going to hit “pay dirt.” Trump then signed a twenty-dollar bill for the young man and took a picture with him as the boy was moved to tears. “Alright, Timmy!” someone said, cheering the boy. “I love this kid!” Trump grinned. “I like that kid!” He teased him, saying, “If your parents don’t want you, I want you!” The family thought that was funny. Then he thanked the boy for his support.
You can see how moved the boy was, particularly in this picture.
The interaction went viral and that prompted a lot of people to comment on the difference between the Trump interaction and Joe Biden’s interactions. There was no sniffing or weirdness, like a Joe Biden interaction, as many noted on X.
Biden goes into a place in Philly for food, no one pays attention, plus he has difficulty figuring out how to close a box.
Choose wisely.
