It’s a privilege few around the world enjoy: fair and honest elections where the people decide who will lead their country. For almost 250 years, Americans have fought and died to ensure that right. Granted, no election is completely free from fraud, and in recent years, certain events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, have made it easier for those who want to cheat to do so. The results of past elections will continue to be debated, which should be enough reason to ensure that there is no question about the results of future elections.
The integrity of those future elections is next on the Trump agenda.

On Monday, President Donald Trump announced he would be signing an executive order that would prohibit mail-in ballots and voting machines in the run-up to the 2026 midterm elections. He wrote on Truth Social:
“I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly ‘Inaccurate,’ Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES, which cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is faster, and leaves NO DOUBT, at the end of the evening, as to who WON, and who LOST, the Election.”
The president added that, “We are now the only Country in the World that uses Mail-In Voting.” He also predicted what we already know: that the fight against ensuring election integrity will come from Democrats. He said the effort would be “strongly opposed by the Democrats because they cheat at levels never seen before.”
Trump continued, writing:
“Remember, the States are merely an ‘agent’ for the Federal Government in counting and tabulating the votes. They must do what the Federal Government, as represented by the President of the United States, tells them, FOR THE GOOD OF OUR COUNTRY, to do.”
There has already been resistance to election reform. An executive order that Trump issued in March, which would prevent states from counting mail-in ballots that were postmarked by election day but arrived later, was blocked by Massachusetts U.S. District Judge Denise Casper, an Obama appointee, saying that Trump lacked the authority to impose state election rules.
Americans were told over and over that there was no connection between mail-in ballots and voter fraud. However, my colleague Teri Christoph reported Monday on Democrat Michigan City Councilman Abu Musa, who was caught on video stuffing bunches of paper ballots into a drop-off box days before a primary election. There are plenty more stories like this.
Trump continued on Truth Social, saying out loud exactly what many other Americans are thinking about the Democrat Party:
“With their HORRIBLE Radical Left policies, like Open Borders, Men Playing in Women’s Sports, Transgender and ‘WOKE’ for everyone, and so much more, Democrats are virtually Unelectable without using this completely disproven Mail-In SCAM…”
The ideal scenario: Election Day becomes a national holiday, so that more Americans can vote in person. Nothing but paper ballots are used; when polls close, there are both Republican and Democratic poll watchers ensuring a fair and honest vote count, although, understandably, one could ask if there actually are any fair and honest Democratic poll watchers. Finally, a requirement that a winner be announced that night. Too bad Trump can’t throw in banning gerrymandering as well.
All this, of course, will send Democrats into tailspins of rage, and there will be more accusations of Trump rigging elections, Trump the dictator—you know the drill. Admittedly, the Democrats’ meltdown over the removal of their cheating mechanisms will be fun to watch, and could spell certain disaster for them in 2026. But usually, the people who are yelling about fairness and honesty the most are the least fair and the least honest.

Editor’s Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
