New: Iranian Counter-Attack Begins, Incredible Videos Show Intense Battle Over Israel

As darkness fell in the Middle East, Iran launched its counter-attack in response to Israeli strikes on its nuclear and traditional military capacity. Videos are now emerging, with some showing impacts in Tel Aviv.

That comes after the IAF conducted large-scale strikes on Iran, with most of the IRGC leadership being killed in the process. Several of Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities were destroyed or heavily damaged as well. Israel has promised that the campaign will continue for days or even weeks.

Iran had promised to respond, and that’s underway. The following footage appears to have been taken from a rooftop news studio.

There are other videos of impacts, though it’s not clear if these are all showing the same impacts or if a sizable number of Iranian ballistic missiles are getting through the Iron Dome and other air defense systems.

I’ve seen at least one report from Israeli sources saying that no one has been injured in the attacks. The entire city has mostly descended into bunkers to wait out the strikes, with only military members and some journalists remaining above ground.

Fox News’ Trey Yingst and his crew were on the ground when the missiles started flying overhead.

Right now, we simply don’t know the extent of the damage. Because air defenses do not vaporize all debris and unspent fuel, even some successful intercepts are going to result in impacts. What that adds up to will be assessed after the immediate threat ends. Iran doesn’t have the capability to precisely target military infrastructure, so they are just spamming ballistic missiles at civilian areas. None of this is a surprise for Israel, and they’ve prepared for it.

Iran is claiming this is just the first wave, and that would be consistent with how it conducted its last attacks on Israel in 2024. For the moment, the damage looks minimal, and that’s the problem for the Mullahs. They can put on a light show, but if they can’t actually diminish Israel’s military capacity in these strikes, they are essentially a meaningless waste of resources in pursuit of a propaganda win.

The real question is what comes next. Do Iran’s proxies get in on the action, or do they stay on the sidelines? That will determine how much power Iran can really project.
