People Had Some Big Questions About Kamala’s Train Wreck Interview

It was clear after the CNN interview why Kamala Harris had been delaying doing an interview for so long. It was a train wreck on every level.

First it should be noted the set-up was horrible, as my colleague Bob Hoge reported. The setup made Kamala look tiny and small compared to Tim Walz. On top of it, I’d add her makeup looked bad so she didn’t look good. As our friends at Townhall observed, she also looked like Walz might have been her attorney sitting on the side to help her. Maybe not the best look.

She has flip-flopped all over the place in response to the question of fracking and now wants people to believe she’s always held the same position. She gave a disqualifying answer when she was asked about what she knew about Joe Biden’s cognitive condition. She said she didn’t have any regrets about that. That alone should is a reason not to vote for her for being dishonest with the American people over such a critical issue.

She also had this fun word salad.

It’s urgent, guys, so it’s about time. Alrighty, now. She did, however, say the quiet part out loud and admit the Inflation Reduction Act was about Green New Deal goals. Notice the leading question from Dana Bash.

Too bad it wasn’t about reducing inflation.

Her responses were bizarre. Bash asked why she hadn’t done any of the things she was saying she wanted to do now while she’s in office.

Well, first of all, we had to recover as an economy, and we have done that. I’m very proud of the work that we have done that has brought inflation down to less than three percent.

Um, inflation was at 1.4 percent when you got in. The economy was recovering from the pandemic already. You made it worse by sparking inflation. You drove it up over 9 percent. Just an incredibly deceptive response.

She acted as though she hadn’t been in office for the last three-plus years.

Unreal, she wants to turn the page on herself and Joe Biden. How could anyone take this seriously?

But there were also a couple of other things that people noted that raised more questions.

Remember this interview was taped, which made people wonder what might have been edited out. But what did it say “live” throughout the showing of it when it was not live? That’s misleading to the public who then think it’s a live interview. People noticed.

Then people also had questions about why she appeared to be looking down. Did she have notes?

When they did a long shot of the table there were no notes on the table but when she spoke at the above point it focused in a close-up so you couldn’t see the table.

In the debate, she isn’t going to have notes, editing, or her emotional support Governor, Tim Walz, so that’s likely to be lit if it’s this bad already.
