The Harris-Walz campaign team likes to term JD Vance “weird.” But that says everything about how out of touch they are with the American people.
Vance was born into meager circumstances with a mother who was an addict, and he was raised by his grandmother. He worked his way up from that to join the Marines, finish college in two years, go to Yale Law School, become an editor of the Yale Law Journal, write a famous book Hillbilly Elegy, clerk for a federal judge, get into the tech industry and investing, then become a senator. He is walking, talking evidence of the American Dream. I want someone who understands how to get to the American Dream, not someone who has been fighting to drive the country to the far left and would destroy that dream.
But that’s “weird” to the folks who don’t seem to know what a woman is. They also don’t seem to understand much of what Americans are about. It’s Biden and Harris who have been the ones crushing the middle class with their bad policies and inflation. Moreover, Harris told us in her latest remarks that she wants to spend even more and make it worse, as well as stop the tax cuts that former President Donald Trump enacted to help Americans.
On Friday, Harris laid out some of those bad economic thoughts that she would put into place if she got in. Stephanie Ruhle offered up a ridiculous defense to some of what she said in North Carolina, but got decimated by Roseanne Barr and others.

Harris also committed a big self-own, which the Trump team immediately picked up on. It was great; she was arguing against herself. She made a Trump ad:

Perhaps one of the best responses to Harris’ self-own came from JD Vance himself.
That’s exactly on target. It’s a perfect reason to vote for Trump. She has to run against her own record and that of Biden. She keeps acting like she hasn’t been in office all the time, with things spinning out of control and hurting the American people. Imagine the nerve it takes to run like this, acting as though you didn’t create all the problems–but hey, now you’re going to solve them. Plus, she’s in office now; she could address the issues now, but hasn’t.
Harris’ responsibility for all the failures and her radicalism needs to be driven home, again and again to voters. It’s very simple — she herself says what a failure they’ve been.
