Rep. Markwayne Mullin, a Republican from Oklahoma, is running to fill Sen. Jim Inhofe’s (R–OK) open Senate seat. He accused President Biden, of significantly compromising national security, of deliberately creating a crisis at the border to expand the Democrat voter block. He called for an investigation into his actions, as well as his “lawless activity” with Hunter. While blasting his efforts to force a nuclear deal with Iran, which only benefits Russia,
Mullin is a member the House Intelligence Committee, where he heavily works on the country’s Fentanyl problem. He contrasted the current border security to that under the Trump administration.
He stated, “From the beginning you saw the reversal in Trump’s policies by the Biden administration on Jan 20, and it’s been an absolute disaster since then.”
He described then visiting the border earlier this year with Border Patrol agents, sharing details about the current situation.
He said that they had caught more fentanyl crossing the border in January than could be killed in Oklahoma. And that was just the first month.
He said, “And so, when we say all states have become frontier states it’s because these disastrous [Biden administration] policy,” he continued.
U.S. Senate Candidate noted that Oklahoma’s crossroads were exploited and profited from by many traffickers.
He said that Oklahoma City is known as the “Crossroads of America” because there are so many interstates that intersect there. “And they can disperse drug and [proliferate] sexual trafficking everywhere they intersect.”
He said, “They can literally take-and reach almost every country from Oklahoma City because the interstate system works.” They take advantage of it.”
Mullin stated that Oklahoma is experiencing a significant influx of drugs, and sex trafficking. This has created a national security problem.
He warned that “the border crisis has spilled into a national crisis.”
Mullin acknowledged that there was a drug interdiction unit on-site to pull over suspect vehicles. However, more needs to be done.
He said, “We’re trying in Oklahoma to adapt to the influx [but] unfortunately we don’t have enough police officers to handle this on such a scale.”
He added, “Once more, the drug cartels benefit from that.”
Mullin stated that he believes the Biden administration’s deliberate policy of flooding the country with illegal immigrants.
He said, “I believe it’s 100 per cent intentional.” “The Biden administration is implementing border policies without any question.”
He said, “The Biden [border] crises that are currently occurring is because the Democrats want to amnesty –they want an open-border policy and almost have one.”
Mullin stated that there is no reason to do this, citing Border Patrol estimates of over 400,000 illegal immigrants fleeing the U.S.
He said, “There is no excuse other than that this is their idea.” “I believe it’s 100 per cent political because they believe that they will win the Hispanic vote and the more Hispanics who can flood the United States, regardless of whether they are legal or illegal, they feel that it’s good for them.”
He said, “That’s why [they don’t want] to have any voter identification laws.”
Mullin deplored Democrats’ issuance legal IDs to illegal immigrants in order gain political advantage.
He stated that illegal immigrants want driver’s licences. It would be almost impossible for us to verify their legal status. However, if they have a legal identification inside the United States and have been issued a driver’s permit by states, it would be possible to check how they are registered.
He said, “And it’s all politically for them,”
Mullin recalled a 2013 conference where immigration was discussed with President Barack Obama. He claimed that it was clearly an issue of electoral support.
He said that Obama stood in front of everyone and put his hands up to his chest. “Then he looked at his companions and asked, ‘What did you get? “76-77 percent of Hispanic votes?
He said, “That’s their attitude about immigration, it is a voting block for they.” It has nothing to do what is best for the country, or with the national security risk that runs.
Mullin said he was open to the idea of indicting the president for the border crisis if it could be proved that it was an impeachable offense.
He said, “If we can show that President Biden did something that’s impeachable,” “I would love to see that guy get out of office.”
He expressed concern about Kamala Harris being elected vice president.
He said, “And that’s a big fear of mine too because she doesn’t need to be president.” “But if he has done anything impeachable, then we must get him out of office. I believe there are some issues that need to been looked at.”
Mullin identified several investigations that he felt were necessary. “From [Biden’s] handling the border crisis to his handling Afghanistan, Hunter Biden’s actions in Ukraine [and] his ability to cover up the lawless activities of his son.”
Mullin stated that he believes there is “something criminal” in Hunter Biden’s laptop. He also said that these investigations would not be permitted to proceed under the leadership of Chuck Schumer, Senate Majority Leader, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
He said, “So, when Republicans win control, we must do our due diligence, and look into it because if he’s done anything impeachable. Remove him.” But it’s almost like dancing alongside the devil, because then you get Kamala.
Mullin also spoke out about a bill he recently introduced to exonerate former President Trump’s impeachment. He called it a “mistake” by Democrats.
He stated, “We all knew that Congress impeachment proceedings that Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and [House Intelligence Committee Chair] Adam Schiff rammed through was nothing but political.” “So, the resolution would basically remove that and correct the wrong that occurred.”
He said, “I believe that’s fairest,”
Mullin claimed that the impeachment should never have happened, and explained that it was exactly what our founding fathers were afraid of — that the impeachment could be used for political purposes.”
He added, “And for first time in our History, it was actually proved true under the rule of Nancy Pelosi.”
Mullin stated that his bill was intended to prepare the groundwork for later action by Republicans.
“Do we really believe that the Democrats will bring this up?” He admitted that it was unlikely. It does set the stage for Republicans to look at this when they take back the House on January 3, 2023.
Mullin was succinct when asked how he would rate President Biden’s performance thus far in Ukraine.
He insisted that it was “just like he’s leading this country right now – anF.”
Mullin stated that the Iran nuclear agreement is not welcomed by any Middle East country.
“None of our neighbors wants it. It is not wanted by Israel. Saudi Arabia does not want it. He said that Iraq does not want it. “This is not what anyone in the region wants.”
Mullin stated that President Biden “doubles down on what Obama administration tried to do with Secretary Kerry at that time: trying force a nuke deal.” This is something he claimed Russia receives.
