Migrant Children Will Receive Learning In San Diego Schools (While U.S Kids Are Stuck On Zoom)

California schools and teacher unions have been putting on an act since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Between refusing to offer any reopening plans and blaming ‘white supremacy’ for parents demanding schools to reopen, California has been under fire for refusing to get kids back to in-school instruction. Other states that have higher COVID-19 cases have already begun the process of getting kids back into school. But with teacher union contracts about to expire, reps are trying to set things up for higher wages and dangerous pay.

The Sacramento City Unified School District recently reached an agreement with the Sacramento Teachers Association to begin in-person classes starting April 8, but parents in the San Diego area are still criticizing the state. The San Diego Unified School District recently asked their teachers to volunteer teaching migrant children in-person during spring break, even though U.S students are still learning in an online-only format.

While San Diego schools are also supposed to start a mix of in-person and virtual learning on April 12, migrant children are getting in-person learning beforehand and students of taxpaying families are still stuck on Zoom. The taxpayers are always prioritized last. That’s the Biden Administration for you.

“We have 130,000 kids who haven’t been allowed in a classroom for over a year in the San Diego Unified School District. It’s great that there’s in-person learning for those unaccompanied minors from Central America, but I wish every child in San Diego County was allowed the same opportunity for in-person teaching,” said San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond.

While another spokesperson shared that the teachers will be volunteering their time, it wasn’t shared whether or not they are getting paid. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki wouldn’t share further details on the illegal migrant children being allowed to attend schools in California for in-person learning, but adds that the “context is important.” She shared that you would have to ask a local school district if the teachers are volunteer or paid.

“As I understand it, San Diego public schools are opening in early April. Students will be back in the classroom – part time – and certainly you know our objective from the White House – five days a week for the majority of schools across the country,” Psaki said.

But Psaki will circle back…

The San Diego convention center will be providing temporary shelter for unaccompanied migrant girls between the ages of 13 and 17. More than 500 girls arrived at the shelters, as of Monday, and 33 had tested positive for COVID-19, including 27 from pre-transfer screenings and another six since arriving in San Diego. HHS Acting Regional Director Bonnie Preston said those who have tested positive were separated into pods of 50 and that “none of the cases are serious.” Seems like the only cases that are serious enough to shut down schools and small businesses are the positive cases in law-abiding U.S citizens. The convention center will be used for about three months and each girl will have an expected stay of 30 to 35 days.

Even though Democrats continue to claim that there is not a ‘border crisis,’ such as CNN’s Brian Stelter who called it a “right-wing narrative,” data collected from migrants shows overwhelming evidence that they believed President Biden would welcome them with open arms. Migrants shared with one reporter that they thought they would get treated better under the Biden Administration. But facilities have been flooded with 600% capacity and children haven’t seen sunlight in days, sleeping on floors, and being denied phone calls to family.

The situation is much worse under the Biden Administration and Vice President Kamala Harris, who is in charge of the crisis, hasn’t even stepped foot near the border yet. There has been a gag order placed on Border Agents and they have been unable to “apprehend” any of the illegal migrants crossing the border due to Biden’s reversal of former President Trump’s previous policies. But hey, they’ve decided to prioritize the education of migrant children over U.S children and fill cities with more COVID-19 cases just to get more votes. That’s the ‘open-border’ policy for you and it’s only the beginning.
